Gastronomic brasserie in BOZAR Brussel

From December 10 onwards the Centre for Fine Arts starts a gastronomic brasserie, open 7 days a week, from 12 A.M. till 11 P.M. Chef is the applaud David Martin, the flamboyant Frenchman is also boss of the brasserie 'La Paix' in Anderlecht (Brussels), the only Belgian brasserie to have a Michelin star. The dishes will be identifiable, recreated using fresh, seasonal produce. Six starters, six main courses, six wines served by the glass from pumps that are unique in Brussels, and six desserts. So things can be keeped fresh, with a gastronomic approach but with the atmosphere of a brasserie.

Sea Grill

After a two month renovation period, the Sea Grill restaurant at the Radisson Blu Royal hotel in Brussels has reopened its culinary doors. The restaurant has been made larger but the number of covers (70) stays the same creating more space for diners. Chef Yves Mattagne is now also the Manager of the restaurant.

Black Balloon in Ghent



These two young fashion designers recently graduated from different fashion academies. They already have an impressive list of achievements dressing Flemish singers and DJ's as Arno and Soulwax, and designing the uniforms of the personnel of the prestigious Fair Design Kortrijk 2010. Next month they open a flag ship store in Onderbergen, Ghent. Cléo en Sarah impress with their new collection with a high Rock'n roll level. Something tells us we will hear a lot about these talents. Watch out!

Antwerp: Museum of Fine Arts

The museum of the KMSKA is preparing for major renovations. The permanent collection can not be visited any more. However, the empty building will serve as a venue for the Anselm Kiefer- exhibition (see survey of the events). The opening of the 'new' museum is foreseen in 2014.
