The Flemish eat out a lot and are rather particular when it comes to gastronomy especially in regards to quality and inventiveness. If a restaurant, old or new, isn't quite 'cutting the mustard' it's out of business. Flanders is a melting pot of cultures and this is clearly represented in the variety of cuisines available. There are more than 2000 restaurants in Brussels alone, so it would be difficult to name them all. But suffice it to say that whether you're in the mood for traditional local cuisine or international fare, we've got it covered. For sure you will never get hungry during your visit. |

There is always a party going on and you're invited! From 8pm until 8am in that space of time between savoring a beautiful beer and a piping hot waffle our exuberant nightlife will prove that sometimes it's worth it to skip a good night's sleep. Jazz festivals, rock concerts, exotic nightclubs, traditional brown pubs and casinos are all a part of daily life here in the heart of Europe. Brussels alone has over 80 bars Tip: For trendy nightlife in Brussels, head downtown towards the Place St. Géry. Every year in July the people in Ghent go all out and celebrate the Ghent festival. It is also very famous for it's jazz bars. Antwerp too is very famous for its stylish pubs, live music bars and cold beer |
